Rosi Feist’s creative process stems from a deep understanding of clean forms, colors, and a playful approach to everyday elements. His works are characterised by minimalist designs that often appear humorous and highly accessible. Feist draws inspiration from modern pop art traditions and merges them with a keen sense of the essential, placing ordinary motifs into new, unexpected contexts. A key part of his creative process involves reducing concepts to their core: he employs clean lines, bold colors, and simple shapes to convey messages with precision. Often, his process begins with observing everyday scenes or objects, which he then abstracts and reinterprets into his iconic visual language. The use of both digital and traditional techniques - such as his “Original Paper Cut Outs” - demonstrates his versatility and thoughtful blend of craftsmanship and digital design. His humor and ability to convey complexity with apparent simplicity define his art and make it uniquely recognisable.
