I am Augustus (pronounced: Oh-gus-to) — an interdisciplinary, contemporary artist creating emotional and relevant art through grief, identity reclamation, and radical self-expression.   Caelthorne Art, a creative body in full support of The Lady Isabel Foundation (LIF) — a foundation I established in honor of my late Mother. Its mission: to advance the prevention of violence against women and children, mental health advocacy, early childhood development, and skills-building for a more just future.   Pain - Process - Power:   Embodied Topics; The Muse and the Maker; Digital Translation; Tactile Resolution; In completion: The Artwork Reveal encapsulates my process with final images taken, in drastic wardrobe (sometimes none), with the artwork, in addition to the narrative and igniting conversation.   This journey from body to image to object mirrors my path from trauma to transformation — a vulnerable act of turning pain into power, and silence into voice.
